"Connexum" Kappa Pi group exhibition now open at the Mueller Gallery at Caldwell University

Writer: Benjamin FernandezBenjamin Fernandez

“Connexum: Caldwell University Kappa Pi 2025 Alumni & Student Exhibition” is now open at the Mueller Gallery at Caldwell University! “Connexum” is a special group exhibition featuring the work of alumni and students from Caldwell’s Iota Epsilon chapter of Kappa Pi, the international art Honors society. I could not be more profoundly grateful to have curated and organized all aspects of the show, as an alumnus of Kappa Pi and one of the participating artists. It was my deepest honor to facilitate the artist talk on Wednesday, February 5 from 5–6 pm, followed by the opening reception from 6–8 pm. In addition to the work on view by the twelve exhibiting artists, the back gallery features an informational presentation video about the history of Kappa Pi, which I enjoyed creating.

We as artists constitute a diverse range of backgrounds, educational pursuits, and media. Together, our work converges in celebration of our continued collective commitment to and love for art. I could not be more immensely thankful to have collaborated with an amazing group of artists, representing both Caldwell University’s Department of Visual Art & Design and our Kappa Pi chapter, as we demonstrate—through our creative practices—the Kappa Pi motto: that art colors life and enriches living. 🖼️🟣🟡🙏🏻

The exhibition will be held from Wednesday, February 5 to Saturday, March 1, 2025. The Mueller Gallery is open to the public Monday—Saturday, 10 am—4 pm.
